Rules Page
Introduction
This page is intended to be a clear, maintainable rules reference for the server. Each section uses numbered placeholder items so the final text can be swapped in directly.
Every rule below is intentionally marked as placeholder content.
1. General Rules
#- Placeholder: Treat other players with basic respect and avoid behavior intended only to disrupt the server environment.
- Placeholder: Use common sense in situations not covered explicitly by a written rule.
- Placeholder: Follow staff instructions when they are clarifying or enforcing server policy.
- Placeholder: Repeated rule-breaking may lead to escalating penalties even if each offense is minor on its own.
2. Chat & Communication
#- Placeholder: Keep chat readable and avoid spam, flooding, or intentionally disruptive formatting.
- Placeholder: Harassment, hate speech, and targeted abuse are not permitted in public or private server communication.
- Placeholder: Do not impersonate staff members, other players, or official server systems.
- Placeholder: Keep links, advertisements, and self-promotion limited to whatever policy the final rules establish.
3. Gameplay & Fair Play
#- Placeholder: Play fairly and do not use methods intended to gain an unintended competitive advantage.
- Placeholder: Do not evade balance systems, cooldowns, or other gameplay restrictions through loopholes.
- Placeholder: Report major bugs or exploits instead of repeatedly benefiting from them.
- Placeholder: Alternate accounts may be restricted if they are used to bypass rules or gameplay limits.
4. Building & Griefing
#- Placeholder: Do not destroy, alter, or steal from builds that are not yours without permission.
- Placeholder: Keep large builds considerate of nearby players, shared roads, and community areas.
- Placeholder: Avoid offensive or deliberately disruptive build themes, signs, and map art.
- Placeholder: Remove abandoned temporary structures when they are no longer needed.
5. PvP
#- Placeholder: Only engage in PvP in areas or situations where the server rules allow it.
- Placeholder: Do not use traps, logout abuse, or similar tactics if the final rules prohibit them.
- Placeholder: Respect any protected zones, event rules, or cooldown periods tied to combat.
- Placeholder: PvP disputes may be resolved based on logs, context, and staff judgment when needed.
6. Economy & Trading
#- Placeholder: Honor agreed trades and avoid misleading offers, scams, or bait-and-switch behavior.
- Placeholder: Do not manipulate prices or market systems through exploits, automation, or prohibited account sharing.
- Placeholder: Cross-server or real-money trading may be restricted or prohibited by the final rules.
- Placeholder: Item duplication, rollback abuse, or any illegitimate currency generation is not allowed.
7. Mods, Clients & Exploits
#- Placeholder: Only use mods, clients, and resource packs that are explicitly allowed by the server policy.
- Placeholder: Cheats such as x-ray, combat assistance, movement hacks, or automation beyond allowed tools are prohibited.
- Placeholder: Macros and scripting may be limited depending on how much gameplay they automate.
- Placeholder: If a tool is questionable, assume it is not allowed until staff confirm otherwise.
8. Staff & Enforcement
#- Placeholder: Staff decisions are expected to be followed during active moderation situations.
- Placeholder: Penalties may include warnings, temporary restrictions, suspensions, or permanent bans.
- Placeholder: Context, prior history, and severity may all affect how a rule violation is handled.
- Placeholder: Public arguments about active moderation actions may be redirected to the proper appeal channel.
9. Appeals
#- Placeholder: Appeals should be honest, concise, and submitted through the server's designated process.
- Placeholder: Repeated appeals without new information may be denied or ignored.
- Placeholder: Harassing staff about an appeal can reduce the likelihood of a favorable review.
- Placeholder: Final appeal decisions may be binding for a stated period of time.
